‘No Handouts’ was the first release from JD ERA under his signed deal to Hip Hop guru Raekwon’s label Ice H2o Canada Inc. It was released in association with BMMG., and distributed by eOne Music Canada. This is was a FREE digital download made available for all via datpiff.com on April 16th, 2012, featuring A-list Producers such as Award Winning BET Producer of the year: Lex Luger, Grammy Award Winner: 9th Wonder, Mark Henry, Pro Logic, Snaz, Burd x Keyz, Beat Merchant, Rich Kidd and Tronz. The 13-track mixtape includes collaborations from a guest list highlighted by Raekwon, Mac Miller and other surprise features. JD Era’s “No Handouts” Mix Tape Release Party Hosted by Raekwon and Angela Yee of Power 105’s Breakfast Club.

Mississauga, On, Canada-Friday May 18, 2012 – Toronto most definitely has a deep pool of untapped talent and Raekwon of the legendary Wu Tang Clan is one of many who took notice. Embarking his label Ice H2O within Toronto’s urban industry, Raekwon introduces his endeavour with JD Era. The first on his growing roster, Raekwon and Ice H2O Records has developed such anticipation of JD Era’s career with the release of his first mix tape, “No Handouts” (available now), under the label.

Being on tour for the past 3 months performing at some of the most celebrated venues and dropping his anticipated mix tape “No Handouts”, JD Era returns home with many accolades to his career. With the city that supported him, Friday May 18, 2012 marks the date for everyone to celebrate the achievements and future of JD Era with the release of his new project.

Alongside Angela Yee (Power 105’s Breakfast Club) and Jeni (Flow 93.5); Raekwon and JD Era host the festivities at Body English Night Club.
